Hey guys, i just opened a brand new pair of NVX xpt100 headphones. listening to some mixes im familiar with, and to be honest im not impressed. they dont have much clarity, and frankly sound like a cheap general consumer headphone. i also realize that they are brand new and will probably need a decent amount of hours for some break-in, but will this improve, or is this just how they sound? i know everyone's preference is a bit different, but these sound like there's some kind of film or something over them. just not much clarity at all. (im comparing them to my yamaha rh5ma's which im used to- which to my ear are very flat, but crisp and super detailed.) anyone that has any experience with these i would greatly appreciate any insight! thanks!
