So, lots of head-fi users (and me among them) are using STX\STX II as their DAC (as their source).
I know that STX II DAC\AMP are very popular in here.

But, how much actually this DAC\Source is really good?
Can it replace an USB DAC\AMP?

I found the original STX better than the Gen1 Schiit Bifrost when I tested a few years ago. Soundcards can be great value as you're paying for casework & power supply with external units. I'd expect some variation in sound based on your computer(power supply quality) and you have that handled. It would be worth looking into an external amp, that's where my old card fell a bit short.
