Just had a moment with Nobuo Uematsu

Nobuo Uematsu is mostly noted for his works in Final Fantasy as a composer. I believe he has stopped composing for Squaresoft after FFX.

The orchestral rendition I'm listening to is by his group, the Black Mages. The earlier Final Fantasy music was all recorded in a MIDI type way, which is unfortunate (since they were on earlier games). So he did some orchestral versions of it, and it sounds great ^^.

Yeah, it's kind of a bummer that the earlier FF osts are mostly midi based, I would love a full orchestra remake of the FF7 soundtrack. My favorite albums are the FFIX soundtrack and the 20020220 concerto ( although I could have done without the commentary ).

Awesome song. I'm really impressed by his work, and thrilled that he is doing the music for FFVII: Advent Children.

iSleipnir, have you heard the Advent Children songs yet??

If you'd like, I could send you a few copies, for auditioning purposes only, of course
