I just got the MZ-E900 MD player for ultraportable listening and.... wow! I've been using an MZ-E90, which has served me very well. However, it had one major problem: very noticeable hiss with or without the remote. The MZ-E900 solves this problem for me. The lack of hiss just makes everything sound better.

Also, the MZ-E900 is even sleeker and cooler. The remote is also nicer and more modern looking. I'm going to be enjoying the airplane flight I'm taking soon.

It sounds like a great player. I've been thinking about upgrading and buying one so i can enjoy LP2 recordings on the go. Type R kicks ass though.

Its just a player Gloco. It does Type-R just as well as the E909. So you've got no excuse to not get a MZ-E900 before they disappear!

i am just using mz-e900 and hp-v553.definietly thet are trash!especially the md .terrible sound

I just got one too.

I got the international world model from japan. So far, so good. Don't have an mdlp recorder yet though.

panasonic 220with sony 888 souds better but just cost about $250
