yeah, all i can say is the same as lindrone thinks... A900 delivers nice midrange... i dont know about all the technical explanations though...
do you think latin music consists mostly midrange ?
if yes, then it will answer your question about midrange... which i think latin sounds great with A900.

Today i bought the "Greatest Songs Ever" series CD. I bought the "Spain" one.
The song is by : Paco De Lucia - title : Granada. (track 6)

its basically just instrument, only spanish guitar playing. i have to tell you, the guitar sounds great, very realistic... it will sound better if you have a nice CD player at home.

Ordered today my very own A900 and I love Paco de Lucia. Can't wait to get them!!

You wanna hear a good latin song to test on? blaring trumpets, good drums, clapping, guitars, this song is 10 mins long and touches on every part of latin music.

That's I think the best you can do for latin music right there ;D
