There's a setting to adjust the prefetch. Sometimes 5 seconds isn't enough. Bump it up.

In general it sounds amazing, even more amazing is the Eq and the ability to finely tune or greatly change the sound.

Yes, it has optical out. Mine is strapped on my D10.

Only a 5mm height hdd will fit inside an ihp120, regardless of its capacity. An ihp140 can accommodate an 8mm height hdd. Optical out uses an LED light to transmit the digital signal. The D10 has an optical input. It uses an optical fiber cable instead of a wire.
