It arrived today.

I ordered them about a week and a half ago. They sound better than my Shure E3cs in every way! When I ordered them, I tried to prepare myself for the Grado sound by EQ-ing my Shures to what I believed the MS-1s to sound like. I wasn't that far off either.

Having used Shures for 1 and a half years I wasn't used to hearing any highs. The highs are so crisp and clear. I've only listened to them for about 1 hour, and I'm already curious what the MS-2s would sound like.

Oh, and my dad, who isn't an audiophile, listened to my headphones for about 30 seconds and said, he wants to buy a pair for himself as well.

Great pics; by the way. I remember so very well the day my MS-1 arrived. I didn't realize that an Upgraditus Bug was shipped with the phones in that Pizza Box.

Beware of sharing your MS1 with your family member!

I have mine for years and recently got an AD900 to supplement it.
My wife "assumes" I wont need it anymore and just took it ...

Great choice! The MS-1's are my "on the road" cans, they make life in hotel rooms almost bearable!
