Just got a DT770 (2005 Consumer Edition) and have a few questions

I use mine with a Hadroom Portable Micro Amp w/ DAC and they sound wonderful. Bass is full, rich, and tight. Midrange is very good, and the highs don't sound at all painful to me. The amp is probably more than you want to spend, but it works great both on the road and at home with all of its input options.
