Anyone know anything else better that sells for $400?

If you're getting Pro 900s for $400, you're getting a very good deal indeed. Pro 900s are generally a ~$500 or 600+ headphone, so they'll be at least a mild step up from most other cans in the $400 market.

Headphones at this level shouldn't be looked at in terms of "better than everything else in the price range" as it really gets down to simply different "flavours". Having said that, I think that the Pro900 is great sounding headphone, one that competes with others that cost a lot more. There is a good chance you will love them.

I prefer the Pro/PL-650 to the 900, the 900 have a boost round 9db on the bass. And of course I'm talking about the Ultrasones and electronic music.

I found a way to get the PRO 900 for $385 shipped once i buy them i will release where i got them on a deal alert post. the reason im nott yet is i dont want the place to sell out (this may take a week or two while i transfer money, don't worry this is not a limited time offer)
