the model is the MDR-RF945RK. I dont have very high hopes but may be preasantly surprised, who knows...

i'm replacing a pair of Acoustic Research AW791 wireless cans that recently **** the bed. No huge loss since they totally sucked anyway.

over all i have to say that based on what I was expecting, i am pretty darn impressed with these. There is NO static, can move aroung without signal fade, pretty damn good soundstage for movies, havent tried it for music. Some of the stuff in the movie sounded like it was in my house which was a bit creepy and I kept taking them off to see it it was in the phones or the room. Decent highs, lows and mids, not audiophile for sure, but well balanced and a great wireless, inexpensive solution for the casual listener or for movies.

There you have it....
