These pics are "new" out of the box. Do the pads look like they've been used?

They look new to me. It just looks like the headphones weren't put in the box very gingerly. If they were used those creases in the pads would have worked themselves out, I would think.

That's how mine looked out of the box. Definitely new. The wrinkles are caused by the packaging. The lines pretty much disappeared after being used or hanging on the stand for a week or so.
