So, these are my first audiophile quality headphones. I've usually always have bought "gaming" headphones in the past, and was referred to go this route for music and gaming. I am very pleased. I know they need to break in a bit apparently, but as of right now I think music sounds awesome, and cant wait until I fire up some games.

Anyway, in Ventrilo, the voip program, the people I play with are saying that they can barely hear me. I put my outbound way up, and they still barely hear me. Then, when I put on windows MB, they say it sounds like I have an industrial sized fan behind me blowing into my mic.

I have the mic clipped on the HD555's wire about 5 inches down from the headphone.

Is there any trick to getting someone to hear me nice and clear? I can't seem to figure it out.
