Wondering what they can do on D2000. If they fit that'd be a much cleaner substitute for MarkL mod. Anyone has two, Skylab?

If I have some extra money, I might pick up a pair of d2000 and try this.

Oh, and yes they are massive! I really love big headphones.

The seller is really awesome. He let me pay half up front and pay the rest after I receive the headphones.

Did not like the sound of JVC DX1000's. Where is all the bass everyone talks about. D5000's rock!

I cannot imagine there is not enough bass. I will be using them with my tube amp, so I think I will be good in the low-end department.

Any other comments?

There is oodles of bass don't fret. Run test tones and your head will come off.
The pads on these things are huge, very huge, when you apply them to your ears will feel like pillows pressing against them. Very comfy. Yes the whole headphone is quite large, look in the mirror with them on and you could pass for an alien. The sound is all that matters in the end and I think that you will be most happy, enjoy.
