. . . myrtlewood isolation platforms and footers to my CDP and WA6 headamp last night. The CDP was on brass footers on an MDF rack, and the headamp on ceramic footers. Adding the myrtle platforms (on myrtle block footers) as an additional layer has a very nice (and not so subtle) effect on the sound of my system. I just kept listening last night! I think that both components improved since the sound of my analogue front end (turntable) was also kicked up a notch. I'm a little less sure of the effect on the headamp than I am on the CDP because my cartridge is also in the process of breaking in.

Overall, a nice (and affordable) upgrade. I'm looking forward to trying the brass footers that Dan (edenSound owner) makes.
