We had almost 120 votes and 41 contenders (thank you to all who voted and added contenders to my original list).

Now we are ready for a proper "sweet sixteen" round.

. Good thing I checked and double-checked before compiling the sweet 16.

In the end, however, I had to make some judgment calls. As a K1000 owner I decided to show impartiality (and forfeit the potential 1.32% increase in resale value) by going with the still-in-production 501.
