I'm really debating this (btw I hate you all

). I got the e2c's about a month or so ago used (good deal) and loved them at first. I use them with my iPod. I still like them, don't get me wrong, and am still happy with them, but I have a couple things I wish were better: stronger bass, more defined, and most importantly, better highs. I think thats the real achilles heel of the e2c's...the highs, sometimes, can sound shrill. This was the main reason I dumped the EX71's in about 2 days -- TERRIBLY SHRILL. The e2c's are FAR superior in that regard, but I think it can be better.

Will the e3c satisfy me enough? The e3c's will cost me ~100 dollars if I decide to keep them and sell the e2c's. I'm just not sure if it's worth it.

I just ordered a set myself. Hopefully I will enjoy them as much as I did my er-4's. Any which way, I'd love to hear your impressions on them when you get them.
