Does anyone know and where can I find a datasheet for it? I tried JRC website, no luck...

It comes on the E-MU 1212m & 1820M soundcards. I was wondering what (if anything) about it contributes to those awsome RMAA numbers...

You got the numbers off the chip wrong..... IIRC its a 2068

As far as how these opamps hinder the performance of the card in question.... replace them and find out.

Duh, we can blame Fixup for that number: http://forum.rightmark.org/topic.cgi?id=4:472

I pulled the card out, and yes it is 2068. An the other number on the chip is 3348B.

Replace those babies with BBs or ADs, swap in a few blackgates, and voila, an even better sound card.

On the 0404, two of them are buffers for the output opamp, if that's true of the 1212 or 1820, they can be removed as well as replaced.
