Ai Otsuka wore these during her studio sessions on the drama Tokyo Friends.

Everybody in the band was wearing these, and none looked used. I'm guessing the MDR-V6/7506, but there's too much grain in my capture to make out details.

Squibbles & Spinali: I think those 'phones were Sony MDR-CD900ST. I've a few clips with seiyuu (voice actors) singing in the recording studio using those cans, and it took me ages to pause the video to get the best shot of the headphones. I'm told they sound slightly better than the V506/V6 (I found those cans on eBay, although it's not hard to get them through audiocubes, but I haven't heard the V506/V6), and they're really popular with the Japanese recording studios.

Utada Hikaru, a very talented jpop singer. She even released a US album not too long ago.

Those look like vintage audio-technicas. I've seen some of their old electrostats with that same design.

Those old ATs are still tempting the hell out of me.... but I don't have the money to spend on one. Damnit, why does it have to be so close to x-mas.

Ha, we'll see who buys it first.

Deciding if I should get a higher version... those electrostats temp me quite a bit...

EDIT: Bah, I'll just get the AT703's if I save up for one of them. They look nicer.
