I have a copy of John Hiatt's new CD:
"Terms Of My Surrender"
It includes a CD and a live DVD.
But there's a problem wih the DVD:
when I set my DVD player to Dolby 5.1 there is only sound from the rear channels and the subwoofer.
There is no sound from the front and centre speakers.

Anyone else have this problem with this DVD?

BTW, the 2.0 PCM track plays fine, so that's what I've been using.

thx,
Chris

I'm a fan but hadn't realized he had a new one out.
Thanks for the head up.

Just ordered the CD/DVD combo and will let you know if no one else does in the interim.

John Hiatt fan here! I don't have his new album though, I haven't thoroughly enjoyed much of his music since he came out with Perfectly Good Guitar sometime in the early 90's. I will give it a good listen though, after seeing this post

It's good to know there's at least a few Hiatt fans still out there though! I thought they were all gone!

Thanks,

I also have the new Steve Earle album in CD/DVD combo, from the same record company, NewWest..
Guess what?
The DVD is supposed to have the whole album in "24/88.2 High Resolution Audio".
It's actually encoded in Dolby Digital 2.0
