hi,

Now my soha + jisbos is all done and cased up i have got round to a lot of listening. Cracking mids, detail i didnt know existed.

however, i am missing really low bass, the sort of none musical bass if that makes sense - e.g Faithless: bring my my family back there is a low rumbling during the chorus, i dont get enough of it compared other amps - its probably down below 30hz.

I do have it attenuated with 100k and 33k resistors (as per jisbos guidance) for a gain of 5. The caps film caps in the soha are only 220nf, is that where my problem lies?

any other areas for me to look for?

The interstage film cap forms together with the resitor a high-pass filter.
You might replace the 220nF film cap with a larger value (330nF - 1uF) to lower the corner frequency => prevent bass roll-off.
Use good quality film cap on this position, as long as it fit of course.
