Well.....it sort of depends on how old it is and what condition it is in but you will take a beating since anyone that buys it will have to put more money into it re-shelling it again.  Do a search in the "for sale" thread/forum here

its a few months old... I found out that $800 is the average for second hand.

I think you can get that much for it. Now that JH implemented the freqphase folks have started to look for that on the earphones.
