Hi guys, I'm buying the AK70 and want to pair it with either the JH13V2 or JH16V2. I would prefer the JH16V2 for the better bass extension but I'm afraid that pairing it with the AK70 might produce hiss. Has anyone tried these headphones on an AK DAP or any other similar sounding headphone?

Don't worry about hiss. Don't look for it. Let yourself immersed in the music .

Naah, it's colored. But anw it has bass dial you can adjust the color as you like.

Thin? Can't agree to that. I believe both models should be a great choice. If you like more bass go for the JH16v2, if you like it a bit more balanced go for the JH13v2 (also the JH13v2 are not bass shy. Anyhow both have the bass dial on the cable so you can adjust to your taste. The JH13v2 for sure better value for money.

I auditioned both, and I also found the jh13v2 sounding a bit thing. The 16v2 was more up my alley.

I don't think there is a thread, it seems the v2s are not as popular as the v1s were Congrats on the 13s, I hope you enjoy them!

13v2's are definitely more neutral and laid back but sound a little thinner due to not having as much mid bass. 16v2's are an improved version with better overall texture and bass control. I'd get the 16v2's if it's not much more, otherwise you're not missing out buying the 13v2's
