Hi guys, I'm buying the AK70 and want to pair it with either the JH13V2 or JH16V2. I would prefer the JH16V2 for the better bass extension but I'm afraid that pairing it with the AK70 might produce hiss. Has anyone tried these headphones on an AK DAP or any other similar sounding headphone?

JH13v2 sounds abit thin.

Thin? Can't agree to that. I believe both models should be a great choice. If you like more bass go for the JH16v2, if you like it a bit more balanced go for the JH13v2 (also the JH13v2 are not bass shy. Anyhow both have the bass dial on the cable so you can adjust to your taste. The JH13v2 for sure better value for money.

I was also in between 13 and 16’a and decided to go with the 13’s. Here are the boys!
I will be posting my impressions shortly.

Also, can anyone be kind enough to desire to me to the jh13v2 thread? Can’t seem to find it through search on HF or even Google.

Cheers
Osman

13v2's are definitely more neutral and laid back but sound a little thinner due to not having as much mid bass. 16v2's are an improved version with better overall texture and bass control. I'd get the 16v2's if it's not much more, otherwise you're not missing out buying the 13v2's :)
