I just spent a couple hours listening over my Jesse Cook collection. Simply amazing...

I have:

Gravity
Nomad
Tempest
Free Fall

While they're all excellent albums, I'd recommend them in that order.

Anybody else really dig his stuff?

So far I only have Gravity and Nomad and I prefer Nomad -- but then I do have a liking for Middle-Eastern music in general. Wonderful guitar, wonderful arrangement: Cook doesn't use the guitar to replace the Arabic oud (lute) -- it stays as a flamenco guitar, and it fits very well into the music.

The songs are a bit distracting though, and I wish the instrumental tracks can go longer -- they fade out when things just start to get interesting.

Have to agree with you. Jesse Cook is great. The sound quality of his recordings is way above par.
