Anyone tried or auditioned these ?

Not that I would buy them, but I noticed that they are selling side by side with Boses at the larger chains stores for around the same ridicoulisly high prices.

They're rebranded AKGs (Harman International owns both brands).

Dunno what they sound like, but it's rather telling that there are at least three broken pairs of JBL 510's on ebay at any given moment. Seems there's a durability issue in the way the earcups connect to the headband.

Thanks for the info, but it seems alot of companies are just slapping on their badges on generic stuff thats made in China and calling it their own.

Does harman even own their own products? I see rebranded Altec Lansincs/Etymotics in the papr-ads all the time, next to the mentioned AKGs at staples, and so on. It's just confusing.
