I have been using my RME Digi 8/96 PAD in linux for a while now and had a discussion with another person who said that using JACK is better/the same as ASIO and would be good to figure out and try. I was curious if anyone has done that with this card or any other card... and whether it actually did sound better. Right now I am using ALSA which is decent but this card sounds much better in Windows IMO. Thanks!
