I haven't found much info on this, but were the J$ pads made for the 880/990 or for the 770? The reason I ask is because I recently found that the 880/990 pads are VERY different from the 770 pads (I found this out by putting 770 velours on my 880's). When I first bought a pair of J$ pads, I found that they made the 770 sound super spacious but very hollow as a result.
