I am looking for a good set of cans for primarily hip-hop & rap listening & some rock/nu metal and have been leaning towards the V700's since they were the best sounding I've heard so far for these types of music.
then I read a thread somewhere about the IXOS Ministry of Sound headphones (the DJ-1001 and 1002's). These can be had for around $67 without shipping, whereas the V700's tend to be about 90-120 bucks.
Anyone have any experiences with the IXOS 1002's? Are they worth the dough? Any advice would be appreciated. I got rid of my 7506's because the treble was just too harsh on my ears.
