New Amp/Dac Stack: Say Monolith/Topping/SMSL stack. Leaning on the former (Monolith)
Or an Amp/DAC combo: Audio-GD – R28 2022, Soekris 2541, RME ADI-2 PRO FS BE (all nice)

I say put it on player for bacarrat.
HD800s is also another nice headphone upgrade.Full size headphone upgrade? I am fan of Focal and Audeze as you can tell from my signature. Both have very good models that fall within your budget (especially used) and can be easily driven by your existing gear.
I would probably be inclined to go full-sized planar, given your current line-up, as others have suggested.
My choice would be Hifiman Arya Stealth. They're a killer set of cans that can be pretty easily driven and EQed to your liking.

arya stealth v3 are great headphones! Their sound is huge and lively, and they are easy to move and easy on the head...highly recommend! (from a long experience..)My choice would be Hifiman Arya Stealth. They're a killer set of cans that can be pretty easily driven and EQed to your liking.

Your current setup is good. I would honest save the cash if I were you. Hard to make a recommendation below that budget that would substantially provide an improvement behind your current gear.
