i've tried all of my usb ports on both 5g ipod and shuffle, and when trying to put songs on an ipod, ituness give me an error stating the disc could not be read from or written to. so i have been transfering all my files through a program called vpod. i've tried xplay and ephpod also and they just make things worse.

i don't mind v-pod cause it's so easy, but it really bugs me that the standard software does not work with my computer, what gives? would reinstalling itunes solve that issue? i'm using the latest.

iTunes sucks, download winamp, the latest version has iPod support.
