More like thousands. This thread has led me to the Amazon site, and the massive content therein. Used to only buy CDs (mostly from Amazon) because of my fairly esoteric tastes, but now have the musical world available for download.
Amazon is encoding with v0 3.97 lame (extreme) which is awesome. Not sure if I'm going to like not having a lossless version of the albums but we'll see. Isn't the latest lame capable of gapless? Testing now...

It is good that they lowered the price, why it was more to begin with...why knows...but I would like to see more cds in Plus. Every time I go on there just to see whats new, I barley see new Plus tracks.

Amazon really is the best online music store. It's extremely cheap, it has a massive range and it has decent quality files.

Not only did Apple drop the price on DRM free tracks, but there are now lots more of them as well.

I'm not buying anything on iTunes(or Amazon for that matter) until they start selling lossless DRM-free tracks. Until then I will keep on buying CD's.
