It seems like more music is audible from the right side

I've found this can be from a whole host of things:
a) the tip obscures more of one side's opening.
b) the tips are not inserted evenly into the ear.
c) the tips are not inserted evenly on the IEM itself.
d) the IEMS have different entry angles into my ears.
e) the recording is inherently biased and you just have a great setup.
f) something wrong with the EQ or volume control of your DAP
g) you have channel imbalance coming from a portable amp at low volume.
h) one tip has a better seal than the other, or one is slipping.
i) your ears are different.
j) the brain can process different sides differently. especially based on ambient noise exposure - sort of noise cancelling (why you have to turn music up after a long noisy day).

either way, whatever the cause, it drives me nuts
