Hello! I posted the following in the equipment form but I'm not getting any joy! As I trust DIYers more than anyone, I thought I would ask the same question here!
I have just been given some isolation spikes for Christmas. Am I expecting a big sound change...? probably not!! But they look pretty awesome!!
Now this is probably a silly question! Does it matter if your isolation spikes point up or down? The first picture shows how I have attached them, the second picture shows how another user has them. I can't see a clear answer - does it matter? From what I've seen, people set it up both ways. Is there any rhyme or reason to this?
Also, the manufacturers specifically say not to fix them with glue etc... Nor is there any adhesive material on them. Are they really stable??? They seem to be but I am nervous! Anyone had a bad experience?
Thank you.
