Howdy,
Long time lurker, here. I am in need of assistance from my fellow Head-Fiers.
Recently, I've noticed that the wiring of my Shure E4C has begun to crack. I fear that I will have to replace my beloved E4Cs soon.
I am considering picking up the SE420s as a replacement, however I'd like to know if there any other brands or models worth considering?
I've been out of the loop since I purchased my E4Cs in March of 2006, and I have noticed that there are many more options for quality IEMs in today's market.I listen to mostly 80s hard rock and metal as well as classic soul and funk.I am looking to spend around $200. Which IEM model would suit my needs best?
I'd appreciate any information or help that could be provided.
