Hi,

Iv'e recently bought this wonderful pair of headphones, i already replaced the cable (which was ridiculously long) and did some other mods with dampening, to try and fix some of their major problems that iv'e noticed so far:
1) Recessed lower mids\vocals
2) congested\grainy\distorted mids
3) slightly piercing highs

I think for the most part i solved issue number 3 with a layer if felt over the driver, but iv'e also changed the dampening inside the caps to try and resolve the other 2 issues using some ideas from different mods iv'e found around the web, but i don't feel it made much difference. I wish i could bring the vocals a little more forward and made the whole mid region sound less congested.

Overall I really like the headphones, and they are by far the most comfortable i had (having owned KRK KNS6400 and German Maestro GMP 8.35D), and they are the only ones i can tolerate on my head indefinitely, so i wish to make them sound the best i can.

Thanks
