Dear all, I live in Hong Kong. The Asus Essence one muse costs about HK$8999 =US$1160. I found it on http://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.1.HFfcPB&id=22630328465
 
(A Chinese "ebay" run by Alibaba). I am so tempted for the price of Chinese Yuan =$4788=US$780. But I'm thinking whether or not to buy it:
 
Is it a faked one? or is the Op-amp not the same as I buy in Hong Kong. Another thing is that I already have STX, and planning to change op amps. But is it more convenient for me to buy this one muses?
 
Another doubt is that the another sound cards like ST, STU they sold are little bit higher or the same price as in Hong Kong.

While I cant comment on the "value" of things, be aware of any tax's for importing.  This can vary greatly from one country to another.

there is no import tax in Hong Kong. And the transport fee is also included in the price. There is no export tax on Chinese goods.
