I have an x-fi, just the card, nothing else. I'm using audio creation mode with bit-perfect playback. It goes out of the headphone jack in the back and into my CMOY. Is this the best configuration for what I have? Does anyone know where the main volume slider should be (I have it in the middle)? Despite using bit-perfect I can still move the volume slider. I'm thinking the headphone jack is not the same thing as a line-out jack, which means the sound isn't proper. Any help?
