Is this bad?

I took apart my sennheiser HD600s today, and noticed something really odd; chilling, in fact.

The left headphone driver has a pale black band marked right over the driver itself with a tiny number "19" PUNCHED into the driver! It's actually indented into the driver.

Is this bad? Did I receive a pair of b-stock HD600s by mistake?

The phones seem to sound all right to me, but do other people have similar experiences?

Cheers,

I'm betting I accidentally got issued a set of B-stock headphones. That number could be the re-issue number or some sort of code.

Again, the phones sound just fine but I'm kind of confused as to why that stuff is there.
