I don't know if that is an official AT picture, but a well-known ebay seller used the same photo when he was selling fakes.

You know the saying: if it seems too good to be true...

from the looks of the www site and the other phones they have for sale they look like they could be fakes.

That www site description lists refurbished "Audio Technica ATH-EC-7". Notice how they omit the hyphen between the audio and technica, and they add a hyphen between the C and 7. The phones listed on the official A-T www site lists them as "Audio-Technica ATH-EC7".

So, technically that web site is not selling you a refurbished "Audio-Technica ATH-EC7", they are selling a refurbished "Audio Technica ATH-EC-7". basically youre buying a refurbished fake/clone.
