i need a good setup for gaming and a bit of video editing and wonted a high quality surround experience i was thinking of the ASUS Xonar D2X because it is capable of running 7.1 audio and the razer Tiamat.
 
would like to know your guys opinions.

The Tiamat's design looks very odd. I mean, all those drivers together would make it rather heavy and therefore uncomfortable. How do you connect one of those things anyways?

Gaming headphones are crap.
Get a clip on Mic, and the STX, and a decent stereo headphone, beyers tend to pair well with the stx. And then use dolby headphone.
