I was wondering if there was such a cable? I do not want to plug my Plantronices audio 550 into a usb jack because it uses it's own built in sound card (DSP). I was wondering if there was a USB to headphone jack type coverter, like how I have a USB to PS/2 converter for my keyboard and mouse.

There are USb sound cards, Like the Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Micro or the Griffin iMic. Or for very cheap

Close but not quite, what I'm looking for is the exact opposite, something to plug my USB headset into and convert that usb into a headphone jack
