After January (which is dt880 buying month)..........the amp buying season approacheth. First for consideration is an amp for AKG k240S. Each computer will have a headphone setup and so this is comp.# 3 with the k240S (kept in the cellar ) and amp will have a wallwart. So, for this one I'd think spending ought to be kept around $100. or less......which makes me think of a pre v.2^2 Portaphile, a Pimeta, or new GoVibe 4. While a re-cable of 240's will eventually get done, I think all will agree that a little deflab-ifying might be in order for the bass..........so I'm asking those who have amped 240S experience - what would you do today for amping them?
