Hi,

I am looking for a budget PC audio line-in USB adaptor for audio signal analysis.

Supporting 192/24 or higher is a must.

Could you recommend some models that is around $100 (or less)?

Cheers :relaxed:

Soundblaster X6 is $69 with free shipping, no tax, and 90 day warranty.

I've bought a couple from them, you don't need to install the software for it, Windows will find it ok. Also it works with ASIO4All if you use that. 112 SINAD on the output if you keep it under 85% volume (Audiosciencreview did measurements on it). It supports that mode, but has a line in and mic in, maybe double check it's not just for playback which it will do in direct mode.

Cool, thanks for your suggestion. It looks like exactly what I am looking for. :beerchug:

Any cheaper suggestions that are passable? Preferably with a three pole 3.5mm plug so i can use an inline mic for gaming. Currently using an ultra budget Ugreen usb and the bass boost it introduces is comically massive.

Honestly just the Apple dongle is better than the stuff you’ve been trying IMO.

Does your desktop PC have USB-C? Does it have a built-in sound card? Just trying to understand the use case.

No not at the moment but your suggestion makes me realise i could get an adapter easily enough which would open the suggestions to any dongle that would work with windows.

The ugreen is perfect usability wise. Just the SQ is garbage.
