Just curious if any who are experienced with the MS-2 ("classic") have found any closed phones that mirror the MS-2's sound.

I haven't heard any closed phones similar to the airy and open sound of a Grado. There might exist such a thing, but generally the closed phones will never sound this way.

Many closed phones suffer from enclosure coloration resulting in disturbed midrange and "box" sound, and/or other problems.

The semi closed back Sony headphones, like SA5000, SA3000 or SA1000, might be a good choice for you. But thery're not completely sealed, so it depends on your needs.

I'm considering the Beyer DT660 in my search for a somewhat portable, closed phone. Might be something to look into.
