I have a "HiFi" Tidal service, which is supposed to provide CD quality (1411kps) streaming. But there is no information about what I'm actually receiving. Is there an app for Android that can provide the information or is there some other way I can know?

Here's what I do know:
I'm using a Galaxy S22 Ultra, which, according to specs, can produce 32-bit/384kHz audio. I have my S22U connected to a FiiO Q11 "High Res" amp/DAC. The Q11 has a window that lights up a different color depending on the bitrate. According to FiiO, this is what the colors mean:

Blue: PCM sampling rate 48kHz or below
Yellow: PCM sampling rate above 48kHz
Green: DSD

The color is always blue

The HiBy Music app has Tidal integration and shows sample and bitrate. Haven't tested with a non HiBy DAC.

Thank you. That got me the information I needed. I was able to see the bitrate and it varies for each song. I saw as low as 660kbps up to 1073kbps.

You're welcome, glad it worked.

The bit rate is supposed to vary like that. FLAC leaves out the empty spaces in the music, 1411kbps would just be a full blast of noise. A CD quality WAV would be 1411kbps because there is no data compression
