I have the beyerdynamic headphones and the cable has become tangled in a few spots. is there any way to straighten the cable? any thing i can buy that would help ?

do you mean tangled or just bent up? once its unknotted you can probablly take a hair drier and warm the cable up a bit and let it cool straight. not too warm.
if you have any kind of respectable headphones you should probably have some routine where you put them somewhere safe when they're not in use.
