I also tried the Beoplay H8. IMO the H8 actually is a downgrade on sound. The H6 is just right. I am right about my "prejudice". All Active noise cancelling headphones have a cramped and noisy rough sound which ruins everything.

Whats worse, the H8 is significantly heavier than the H6 which give me an headache.
