I only have a few requirements.
Plays FLAC
Can handle 1,000+ songs
Easily will Shuffle All

Flac Player - crashes and hangs on me all the time.
Flac Player+ - seems ok but doesn't actually shuffle (though the button is there). You also have to pick each song individually to add to a playlist.
Media Player - I'm using now but the controls take 15+ seconds to work (ff, rewind, etc)
Golden Ear - eventually crashes and doesn't save your playlist. Wouldn't play all my FLAC's either....kind of a problem.

It can't be that hard! Someone help!

have you tried Capriccio?
 
looks nice, I use it on my Iphone 5, but only when my HM-601 and Studio-V are unavailable!
