Is there a generally agreed-on range of values for low, medium and high impedance / sensitivity in the context of headphones?

Title.

For example, when it comes to microphones, low impedance is considered to be less than 600 ohms, and high is above 10,000 ohms.

What are the ranges for headphones?

I've seen it different ways. Some categorize as:

Low <32 ohms
Medium 32-100
High 100+

If we look at Beyers, they make the same models in 32, 80, and 250 ohms. I would take this to mean that they interpret Medium as 80-250 ohms.

One thing we can all agree on, 300 ohms is high. 32 is low.

Like everything with headphones, there's no standardization and no agreement about impedance.

I think the lowest impedance IEM I've ever seen was 4Ω nominal impedance (might actually go lower), and, as far as I know, electrostats can go as high as 100kΩ. Allegedly there was a 2kΩ version of the Sennheiser HD424, and the Beyer T1 goes up to 1.2kΩ.

I'd say ≤10Ω is poor design
10-32Ω is low
32-100Ω is medium
100-600Ω is high
≥600Ω is ridiculous

Not that it would stop anyone here from buying it ... and then using it to justify the purchase of a new OTL tube amp.
