I am using my laptop with 0404 usb and I am getting things going pretty smoothly with the asio drivers that come with the unit however I am curious about asio4all and asios2ks and also direct sound's asio driver. I want to know if they at all sound different or have more options or even sound better than the stock driver that is included with my emu 0404 usb.

Stick with the stock offering. Sound quality is the same, and ASIO is ASIO, it isn't really something you 'tweak'.

asio4all is for cards that DO NOT have a native asio driver. You do not want to use it in place of native drivers.
