I was into the headphone scene, like, over a decade ago. But now my information is soooo dated.

Is there some handbook or guide these days? Specifically for headphones, not headphone amps? The sort of 'If you have this, this, and this criteria, you will want either this or this headphone' sort of thing. You used to be able to figure that out at headphone.com, but that site's gone. I have no idea how things compare anymore, or who the big important names are, or the best in class models, or anything!

RTings has kind of picked up on headphone.com legacy. It doesn't have the same swathe of headphones but it's getting there, their insights are excellent as well. They don't have many of the heavy hitters, but overall it's well stocked with mid-fi and the usual hi-fi suspects.
